I fell in love with books and reading at an early age. My obsession with books earned me the nickname Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, because like her my nose was always “stuck in a book.” When I found out that I could get paid to read books all day, I knew that being an editor was something I wanted to pursue.

I studied English at the University of West Florida, and my senior year I interned with Ballinger Publishing (Pensacola, FL).

I love books of all genres, but two of my personal favorites are To Kill a Mockingbird and Pride and Prejudice.

I have edited several books, blog articles, and social media posts.
