People with Disabilities are unemployed at double the rate of "normal" people, and earn only 2/3rds of their salary (compared to "healthy" people with the same experience & skills). That's the worst wage discrimination seen since the start of the Civil Rights movement. People woth Disabilities are beijgtreated as discounted humans.
Let's end the abuse now. Disabled is the only minority any of us can join at any time, and our likelihood of joining increases as we grow older. ONE in FIVE Americans live with a disability. We are everywhere. And we deserve equality just as much as everyone else
