Pamela Speak

I'm currently living in Berkshire after spending seven years in Liverpool. I'm unemployed and a dedicated job seeker who also likes to sew and write in her spare time.

I've just started my own blog following my sewing journey which was somewhat derailed when the timing on my sewing machine went. Until that gets sorted I'm just going to read sewing blogs for tips, organise my growing stash of vintage patterns and keep my fingers crossed that by the new year I'll be up and running again.

So what else is there to know about me? Well I have two cats currently living with my dad until my fiance and I have secured jobs and a new place to live. Darcy and Bingley are my best buds, one a precocious and adorable female tabby and white and the other a mischievous but good natured black tom cat.

I am usually found with either a cup of tea in my hand, a book (or Kindle) nearby or some sort of sewing project. Sometime all three.

I love good movies, excellent TV shows (Criminal Minds, Rizolli and Isles, Castle etc) crime and fantasy fiction and comfy slippers.

My degree in Ancient History and Archaology added to my love of history, research and buying history books. It was also where I met my fiance who was studying Astrophysics (He's the smart one) a super gorgeous, amazingly smart geek who adores me despite how socially awkward, insane and nerdy I can be (can we say match made in heaven?).

Other than that there's really not much to tell about me.
