I am a real and honest to god activist for human rights and environmental action. CThe female voice. I am woman hear me roar. I would like to begin this little essay by pointing out two FACTS...number one a Black Man became president before any woman. Number two, Black Men got the right to vote before woman.

A little history about me. I am a retired social worker and drug counselor. I worked with drug addicts, abused women and children, and folks that had developmental disabilities. I also volunteered with folks with full blown AIDS back in the day when they all died and no one would touch them..and families deserted them. I have had death threats and walked into crack houses. Also, in the past two or so years, I almost died twice. I have sensible fear or I would be insane. Having said this, I fear little. I have lived on my own for 19 years and I have taken care of me, in both rain and shine.
But my words would mean nothing without action. I belong to the ACLU, The Southern Poverty Law Center, The Naacp, Moveon.org, GreenPeace, Amnesty International, Union of Concerned Scientist, ..monthly I contribute to Women for Women International, Water.org, Doctor's Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Bread for the World..and I help when I can for other causes..I give meals at Christmas and toys for little one's.
Now you are probably saying to yourself..this women is vain..NOT and think what you like. This point is made because meme' are useless without action...words mean nothing without action..I am sick of reading opinion without action. If we want to change, we must take action. I make $30.000 year and I still do these things. There is nothing unique about me...stand up and make a difference

Here we are in the season of giving and receiving. I wish everyone "enough." I know that i have more than enough. I can go to my grave without needing much these days. So I urge all of you who have enough or more than enough to give this holiday season. Give to people in this world you do not have nearly enough. May the world rise up to meet you and may you rise up to meet the world...Peace to all!
