Pamela Foster

I've written for years. Packed one of those blue, three ring binders around with me all through junior high and high school. Wrote profound thoughts and ideas for stories. Got married at eighteen and had three boys. That slowed down the dreams of being an author for a while. But, like or not, times change, life passes and when I hit fifty, I turned back to writing. Now I have one novel published, Redneck Goddess. They say write what you know. I did. A second novel, Bigfoot Blues, is due out next month. My grandpa was the first white man to report a Bigfoot sighting in Humboldt County, California where I was born and raised. Again, I wrote what I know. But, of course, I tweaked and turned it enough that the resulting story surprised even me.
