Public Speaker, Author, and Advocate in Virginia

Visit my website

I am a speaker, author and advocate living in Virginia. As a speaker I encourage others to not adopt a sense of futility--even in the most difficult times. As an author, I write to inspire. My most recent work is "A Day at the Fare: One Woman's Welfare Passage" available at amzn.to/2gvgyk8. The memoir describes my pIunge into, and emergence from deep poverty, by way of education.

I also serve as both a poverty and literacy advocate.
