Pamela Targan

Before retiring from the field of education, Pamela Targan taught junior high school art at Slaybaugh Middle School in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Although she is no longer active in the classroom. Pamela Targan is still a member of the New Jersey Education Association.
A resident of Northfield, New Jersey, she remains passionately engaged with fine arts as a collector who gravitates toward paintings and sculpture. She also creates artwork of her own and applies her keen eye for aesthetics in areas such as cosmetology and interior design. In 2019, she won first place for her achievements in hat design at the Devon Horse Show’s Ladies Day event in Devon, Pennsylvania.
Beyond her history of involvement with the Devon Horse Show, Pamela Targan has supported community groups ranging from the ATLA Auxiliary to the Atlantic City Day Nursery. She has also served tenures as president of the Charity League of Atlantic County and a hostess committee member with the Miss America Pageant.
