The Argentina Sworn Declaration is one of the principal documents from the Argentina's constitutional process. It includes the basic provisions concerning the formulation and implementation of the Constitution of the country. The document also defines the functions and responsibilities of this legislature, executive, and the judicial organs of the country. This is also a critical part of legislation that will define the modalities of the nation's political system. The simple intention of this statement is to make certain that the interests of all sectors of the society are guarded.

The document starts with the President of the Republic of Argentina giving notice to the United States of America and the International Monetary Fund which they are not disinclined to accept or enter into discussions concerning trade, economic, and financial policies that affect the nation. Furthermore, it also gives notice to additional states the government won't engage in warfare. The nation then declares its intent to observe and honor the duties set forth in the Treaties of Mutual Cooperation and Friendly Relations. It undertakes to provide information to its neighbors concerning its arrears and also to refrain from interfering in their internal affairs. Last, but not least, the document verifies that it reserves the rights and powers to settle international disputes through peaceful means.

Argentina has claimed that the declaration does not apply to its overseas debts. Thus, it was able to negotiate with its creditors and restructure its debt in 2021. However, the United States still believes Argentina as a currency illegally under the FTAA notification. It calls for Argentina to resolve all of its outstanding foreign debt prior to implementing the declaration. In doing so, it would make the US-Argentine relationship much harder.
