You're most likely to find me on back roads, listening to roots music and kicking up the dust of history in my search for remnants of the past, abandoned houses, and stories of memory and longing.

After decades of writing nonfiction, I've rediscovered my voice this year as I've been writing my first novel, Keeping, and its companion, Etched Upon the Land (both unpublished).
