My career started in Hellenic Air Force (HAF) as a Civil Engineer (Construction - Supervision of Public Works) and an Executive Officer (Engineering Manager), until my retirement. While in HAF, I shifted my focus from Civil Engineering to Computing (Programming, Analysis, IT Systems Development), having my first diploma in Programming from the Ministry of Defense in 1990, and thereafter a DIC and M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Imperial College of London and University of London (1994-1995). I continued practicing IT Systems in HAF in large-scale systems and NATO IT Committees, along with commercial systems implementation in s/w house and construction companies. Therefore, I have worked especially on the synergy of IT - New Tech with Construction. Emphasis has been given to MIS and ERP areas. In 2003 graduated from the Postgraduate Program of NTUA "Technical-Economic Systems" -a Technology focused MBA- getting financial and production knowledge to further support my managerial potential. My interest focused on BPM; Process optimization to benefit Business Excellence. As an ICT Manager @Interattica-DPD of La Poste Group (2005 - 2009), had had the opportunity to tackle challenging tasks concerning a nation-wide distributed IT & Business system as well as tasks related to re-engineering and IT systems' transformation of the company (PRINCE2). For more than two years (2009-2011), delved in RES Development as an Engineering Manager for Enova.de and until early 2015, I worked @Cardel S.A. as Engineering & Sales Manager, being accountable for a wide range of tasks and projects from Company Organizational matters to Sales, Engineering and Systems Development ones (ticketing system for ticket365.gr). I am challenged by special, diverse, cross-disciplinary projects, out-of-the-box thinking, and consider myself a specialist in using New Technology and Engineering for Business purposes; a "Business Engineer" in other words.
