Pandi-Perumal has academic training in sleep research, along with biopharmaceutical business experience.

Pandi-Perumal attended the American College, Madurai (affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India), and studied Botany, and then attended the Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Toronto, Canada. He worked in the field of Sleep Medicine at various capacities, which is central to this operation of the proposed business. He has earned an excellent reputation within the sleep community and brings tremendous strengths and experience to this new enterprise.
