Joined Mumbai Customs as Preventive Officer, Anti-Smuggling Bureau and have earned the reputation of a non-corrupt, result oriented, strong teamplayer with a can-do attitude, who stands up for his team mates and brings in fair resolution when solving issues related to the job.

Have contributed immensely to fostering a sense of camaraderie within the department between the management and employees, bridging communication gaps and bringing a sense of deep loyalty.

On being promoted to Superintendent of Customs in January 2002, have been instrumental in introducing efficient working structures and implementing innovative solutions, both of which have contributed towards team-building adherence to ethics, customer service skills and mentorship programs within the department.

Promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Customs in October, 2014.

Sanctified the Department’s Performance Management systems which are aptly reported in the annual review of employees.
