Currently, I am serving ABB Corporate Research-India as a Research Scientist.

I have finished my Ph.D. thesis, titled “Enabling High-Level Application Development for the Internet of Things”, at the University of Paris VI (UPMC) and the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA) - Paris. I have finished my Master degree (in ICT) at Distributed and Service-Oriented Computing Research Group, DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. I received bachelor of engineering degree (Computer) from Gujarat University, India.

My research work primarily focuses on software engineering, middleware, model-driven engineering, domain specific languages in the Internet of Things domain. It applies good software engineering techniques, such as separation of concerns, abstractions to hide software complexity, and end-to-end system integration. In brief, I focus in building software development methodologies and tools to easily develop applications in the cross-section of software engineering, pervasive computing, sensor network, and Internet of Things.
