Panos Patagiannis was born in Athens, on 6 August 1983. From the age of five he showed his love for music. He grew up in the region of Korydallos and later in Nikaia (suburbs of Athens). He managed to combine his love for singing with that of letters. An excellent student during his school life, he gave examinations and passed in the Department of Communication and Media Studies of University of Athens, and he graduated at the age of 22. Now he studies in the Department of History and Archaeology. He has studied Modern Song in the National Conservatoire with Elisavet Karatzoli and Fakanas Music School with Christos Dantis, he has been a member of the Chorus of Municipality of Nikaia for two years and he collaborated with the chorus of Municipality of Piraeus with the pianist Vana Mantzavinou. On spring of 2006 he took part in the song competition of Conservatoire "Philippos Nakkas", but remained in semi-finals. In September of 2006 he participated in the Festival "Manos Hatzidakis" in Veakeio theatre, where, apart from his role as a singer, he wrote also the texts for the Band and the Chorus of Municipality of Piraeus. At the same period, in the openings of the Musical Centre in Piraeus under the name of Mikis Theodorakis, he interpreted the song "Faedra", in front of the great musician. One of the most important moments of his life. The writing of lyrics is something which he dealt with seriously during his life as a student. Something that he developed also in writing a book, which has a lot of pages yet for his completion. He has great love for the Art of Cinema, an art that he would have followed abroad, but music kept him in Greece. An art from which he has acquired enough "experiences" for the way he writes and thinks. In 2006 as the victor of the competition “Mad 4 Positive Energy” with the song "Love, Energy Within Me" and in collaboration with EMI Music, he made his own beginning in the musical industry as a singer, writer and composer. And we reach 2011 when he participated in the first internet singing contest "Live2sing" that lasted 3 months.Panos made it to the finals that took place at Gazoo with famous personalities of music, television ans show business!The same year he took part in the making of the album "Skonismeni Zoi" with the composer Makis Delis and lyrics writer Nikolas Pretzipas, with different and special songs that reveal the joy and sadness of love, the bitter thruth of life under our skin!
