Hello! My name is Paola Alejandra Marquéz Lugo and I am currently studying Chemical Technology at the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao. My goal is to become a licensed chemist, as I am passionate about science and its impact on the world. In my free time, I enjoy traveling to new destinations and exploring as many beaches as possible. I consider myself an outgoing person with a good sense of humor. Beyond my academic and professional goals, I also seek to grow both mentally and emotionally, and fulfill my dream of using my knowledge to help others.

My reason for being is found in chemistry and its ability to transform the world. I am motivated by the desire to understand scientific processes and apply them to improve people's lives, whether through innovation, sustainability, or the development of solutions that positively impact society. My goal is to combine my passion for science with my vocation for service, thus achieving a balance between what I love, what I am good at, what the world needs and what will allow me to grow personally and professionally.
