Thanks to her hard work and perseverance as a space architect, Ms. Paola Favata completed her Master`s degree in Architecture, which also led her to obtain an International Space University (ISU) Scholarship from the European Space Agency (ESA). The European Space Agency implements its own space flight programme. From 1997 till 1998, Ms. Favata worked towards completing a Computer Graphics Course in Florence, Italy. She earned a Bio-Architecture Diploma in 1999 from no less than the National Institute of Bio-Architecture, also in Florence, Italy. Paola graduated with her Master’s in Architecture in 2000 as a 110/110 Summa cum Laude at the University of Florence Technological Department. In doing so, Paola was awarded Thesis Publication Honors in the University’s Annual Publication for the period 1999 till 2000.
In 2001, Ms. Paola Favata successfully secured an Italian License in Architecture, which also allowed her to become a member of the Florence Chapter of the Order of Italian Architects, Italy. Ms. Favata was issued an International Space University (ISU) Scholarship from the European Space Agency in the same year. In 2002, she completed her Master’s degree in Space Studies at the International Space University, Strasbourg, France. In 2006, due to her being able to meet the standards of the Green Building Rating System of the U.S. Green Building Council, Ms. Paola Favata was awarded certification as a LEED Accredited Professional.
Working towards passing the Architect Registration Exams (ARE) to obtain a California License in Architecture, Paola Favata aims to optimize her experience and expertise in the field obtained in her professional career while she was still in her native Italy. As the owner of PF Atelier, Ms. Favata has been designing artwork executed in fine jewelry, glass, textile art, photography and mixed media. Ms. Paola Favata was awarded Honorable Mention in Milan, Italy during the Domus BBJ Design Competition for New Ideas of Boeing Business Jet Interiors for her exceptional Velivolo Elastico (Rubber Plane), on June 21, 2000.
