I have been working on a number of R&D projects, ranging from wearable and embedded systems to mobile robotics and distributed telehealth architectures, as consultant, developer, architect and project manager.
In 2008, I had the opportunity to join as technical manager and researcher, the Highcare Expedition one of the largest scientific expedition at the Everest Base Camp (http://www.highcare2008.eu).

I do believe in teamplay, and, when it's reasonably possible, I like to try and open new paths rather than following the mainstream. I am a technology enthusiast, although I think technology must be a mean to reach the goal of improving people's conditions, not the goal itself.

I'm actually interested in R&D projects and applications of advanced technologies, in particular the ones that are rooted in healthcare and focuesed on social inclusion and empowerment.

In short: think ahead, be creative, work in team, build something useful and new, have fun.
