With more than 25 years of a wide business experience I gained increasing responsibilities in leading Italian and European retail FMCG companies.

Main Experience in retailers companies such as Conad, Sigma and Italia Distribuzione, Centrale Italiana (Coop). Retail Private Label Projiect with Daymon Worldwide, E.Leclerc, Booker, Edeka, Systeme U.

I developed expertise in buying, trading, marketing, retail, private label. I developed a wide network of typical high quality Italian and international food producers realizing social and cultural impact as well as commercial.

I developed Italian products “umbrella brands” sales in Italy and in some relevant European countries. I worked to give value and consumer relevance to retail offer through sustainable and socially driven practices and premium products.

Expert in retail, marketing and food supply chain development, I am co-author of the book “Marketing dei Prodotti Tipici” (Marketing of Typical Products) - The enhancement of food products of the territory: critical issues, perspectives and relationships with large retailers and distribution organizations.

I'm Professor at Global MBA Food & Wine Retail and Distibution at Bologna University Business School) and Agrifood Companies Management Master.
