Hi! I am Paolo De Franceschi, an aeronautical engineer specialized in Rotorcraft Design and Dynamics.

Personally i draw energy and motivation from challenges and cutting-edge aerospace solutions. I am particularly motivated by engineering positions that require creativity, analytical depth, and the ability to connect theory with practical innovation.

As a graduate student in Aeronautical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, I specialize in rotorcraft design, flight dynamics, and human response to vibrations (Rotorcraft-Pilot Couplings).

My research focuses on Rotorcraft‑Pilot Coupling phenomena and inceptor control systems, featuring CAD design, structural analysis in ANSYS, and dynamic simulations in FEMAP/Nastran, MSC Adams,LS-Dyna and Matlab/Simulink.

I’ll be available in November 2025 and i am open to relocate in DATCH as i am also currently learning German.

Main interests of study: Structural Dynamics, Multibody System Analysis, Flight Simulation, Handling qualities, Flight Testing, Crashworthiness and Bio-aero-servoelasticity in both theoretically and practical approaches. -Rotorcraft Design (Design optimization of AS332 Super Puma, Weight Breakdown Structure,, Ground resonance study, rotor sizing in hover and in forward flight, rotor FEM analysis )

-Multibody System Dynamics (Multibody system dynamics design of a Rotorcraft Flight Simulator platform, present in PoliMI facility. Team work: Flight Simulator modeling in MbDyn.).

-Aeroservoelasticity of Fixed and Rotary-Wing Aircrafts (7 people team-work. Personallly in charge of Loads and Dynamics evaluation in order to perform a full aeroelastic analysis of an 8-propeller+wings compound UAV )

-Passive safety (Crash test experimental analysis at LaST facility; numerical validation via LS-Dyna )
