Before Segment, Maya was the Director of Marketing at Wealthfront, the automated investment service that makes it easy to invest your money the right way.
Prior to joining Wealthfront, Maya was the Chief Evangelist at Wildfire, by Google. Her specialty was educating brands and businesses on the value of social media marketing to their brands.
Maya has presented at Le Web, Inside Social Apps, the Clinton Foundation, the American Marketing Association (AMA), Social Media Camp, and the Social Media Strategies Summit.
Before Wildfire, Maya worked at IBM in the Strategy and Transformation group, and at TechCrunch, editing and moderating CrunchBase. She is a graduate of Cornell University and grew up in New York City.
