Curling Iron Techniques
Love this curling iron. Great to smooth out curls and frizz for curly hair. When the spring is broken the iron won't grab and hold your hair in place.
I've been trying for years to learn how to curl hair. My salon uses this brand of curling iron (although the one without the spring clamp) so I thought I 'd give this a try. The cord swivels so it moves with the curling iron as opposed to getting in your way.
This is exactly what I've been looking for as I have short, short hair that is straight, straight! This changes that.
This iron gets hot enough to curl your toughest grey haired customers so tight they will think they had a blue rod perm!
I never realized that there was a curling iron with temperature control - what a difference it makes! There are directions on how to set the various temperatures for the type of curl you are looking for. I will definitely look at Hot Tools products the next time I need something.
I was iffy about buying this but it curls my hair so much more faster due to the fact that I have super long hair. Just like the box says it is more of a salon iron curler but it is perfect in home use.
I have thicker, longer hair and this curls my hair super fast (about 5 seconds per section) and it looks great! Definitely gives you those Taylor Swift curls. If you aren't used to wrapping your hair around a cone curler, I would use the glove first and go slower because it is very hot.
Because I tend to curl and then just set my tools down on my counter top, I also bought a heat mat. Overall I would highly recommend this product!
I gave one to my sister, and I tried it out on myself. I always would get ugly crimpsfrom curling irons, and I never learned how to curl my hair with a flat iron. I used the glove that was provided, and I gave myself a head full of beautiful curls.
It produces the most natural and attractive looking curl i have found, is super easy once you get the hang of it and is easy to maneuver quickly when you're in a rush. Don't use the weird two finger glove.
