Pareto Recruitment

Ever since 1995, Pareto Recruitment has been a top recruitment firm in the UK, focusing on building and training exceptional sales teams. Derived from an economic principle, Pareto refers to the theory that 20% of the population is responsible for 80% of a given result. As applied to a sales context, it refers to the idea that only a small number of salespeople produce the bulk of a company’s revenue. With this idea in mind, Managing Directors Jonathan Fitchew and Andy Sawer set out to figure out what makes the top 20% so successful.

Their findings are now applied in the recruitment and training practices at Pareto. At the beginning of the process, a dedicated account manager spends time with a client company, evaluating their needs and culture to define an ideal candidate. Then, the recruitment process begins. Assessment centers all around the UK are utilised on a daily basis, allowing Pareto to put together a package of top-notch candidates quickly and efficiently. When the need is only for a few candidates, an existing pool of applicants can be evaluated to see if any are a likely fit, while larger needs of six associates or more might require efforts such as a dedicated assessment day in order to streamline the recruitment process.

In order to make the process even more efficient for client companies, only three potential candidates are presented for consideration for each position, reducing pre-screening time significantly. Following selection, Pareto Recruitment stands behind their recruits, offering comprehensive training to ensure their sales careers get off on the right foot.

Pareto Recruitment’s training program is recognised by the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management, making it one of the highest quality sales training programmes in the industry. ISMM sets high standards for its recognised programmes, and Pareto complies with them, promoting professionalism and excellence in the sales industry and delivering service in an ethical manner. With these high standards in place, Pareto Law has proven its commitment to quality i
