Michael Pariente

Michael Pariente is a criminal defense attorney with nearly two decades of experience in the legal field on both sides of the law. Pariente is the founder of Pariente Law Firm in Las Vegas where he defends the rights of those facing criminal charges, ranging from minor misdemeanors to some of the most serious felony offenses.

Pariente earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico and his master's degree in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin before receiving his juris doctor from Baylor University Law School.

Pariente was a prosecutor before becoming a federal public defender in U.S. District Courts in Texas, where he still is licensed to practice law. He founded Pariente Law Firm in Las Vegas in 2005, and since has handled several high-profile prosecutions that earned international media attention.

Pariente is not afraid to fight for the rights of his clients and get the best possible results. He handles a variety of criminal cases, including drug crimes, domestic violence and marijuana possession. He has experience in state and federal courts, in addition to being licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court of Nevada.

In addition to serving clients in the Las Vegas area, Pariente also expands his knowledge as an active member of organizations such as the Nevada Association of Criminal Justice and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Pariente continues to stay up to date on current legal issues and is always expanding his skills to better serve his clients as they face tough situations.
