Parisa Eslambolchilar

Swansea

In March 2007 I joined the HCI group in Computer Science Department, Swansea University where I am employed as an associate professor. I have a keen interest in human behaviour in interaction with ubiquitous technologies. I am interested in building sensor-based multi-modal interaction with mobile and medical devices.

By day, I teach and supervise students, manage researchers, and read.

By night, I code, I help older people to get better with computers, and I work on ideas for sensor-based interaction. If you need to pick up someone’s brain in these areas, please get in touch.

Climbing, hiking, photography, reading, cooking and stargazing keep me in touch with my human side. If you are short of vegetarian recopies, or places to climb or hike or simply interested in visiting South Wales, UK you are welcome to get in touch :)
