As a fairly introverted person, I tend to not say much. I listen to chatter, conversations and discussions. I pay attention to everything everyone is saying, from all perspectives, sides and angles. If it is not an occasion I am eavesdropping, I analyze the information I have retained to ask pertinent questions. I have interviewed local politicians, tattoo artists and those with unique lifestyles in an effort to demonstrate how there is never only one way of living, thinking or doing.

When it comes to reporting, packaging and delivering news stories, I believe it is essential to hear and see everything in order to learn as much as possible. Every story has facts and slants and finding the truth requires exploration into what may be uncomfortable or disagreeable; however, as a journalist and writer, there is no room for reluctance to the things which cause discomfort.

While my articles may never inspire or save the world, perhaps a greater amount of veracity will help those on the receiving end make informed choices, which, hopefully, in turn, will keep making the world a little better.
