Chris Parker

Hello, and welcome to my personal website! I'm Chris Parker, a 38-year-old British expat living in beautiful Mexico with my amazing Mexican wife, Pila, and our two wonderful sons, Theo and Paul. I have spent the past decade embracing the vibrant culture, food, and landscapes Mexico has to offer, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to call this country my home.

My career has been focused primarily on sales and commercial functions. I began my journey in the UK within the recruitment industry before transitioning to Mexico, where I found my passion for helping young startups reach maturity in their commercial operations. I currently serve as the Head of Sales for an exciting cybersecurity, compliance and data privacy consultancy for the startup community.

Outside of work, I'm a firm believer in the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I cherish the time I spend with my family and friends, exploring the great outdoors through hiking, camping, and backpacking. As an avid mountain biker, I love conquering challenging trails and immersing myself in nature. Music has always been a significant part of my life, and I thoroughly enjoy playing the guitar and discovering new tunes. My love for food, especially barbecue and grilling, has led me to become quite the home cook, always eager to experiment with new recipes and techniques.

In addition to my career and hobbies, I have a strong interest in entrepreneurship. I'm continually evaluating new and exciting startup ideas, looking for opportunities to foster innovation and growth. I believe that collaboration and shared experiences are essential in both personal and professional development, which is why I'm always open to connecting with like-minded individuals.
