Edmund Parker

Mr. Parker was born and raised on a farm in upstate New York. He earned his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Geneseo and he received his Master of Science in Education from Niagara University. While teaching high school, he joined the Air National Guard in Niagara Falls. He expanded his opportunity to serve others when he joined the United Way of Rochester as a fundraiser for major corporate and leadership giving. In 1976, he was married and moved across the country to Tucson for a new United Way position heading resource development and marketing. Two years later, he was promoted to President/CEO. Significant financial growth occurred. Over 350 million dollars was raised to assist with human service needs during his tenure. He is a seasoned strategic and visionary leader you has worked with numerous nonprofits.
