Parthapratim Chakraborty

Dr. Partha Chakraborty is an inventor and serial entrepreneur currently on his second investment startup. His current venture - Kent Avenue Capital Partners or "Kent Capital" - aims to disrupt the investment management market by meeting specific needs of transparency, liquidity and superior returns - all at the same time. His weapons include a proprietary, scalable, transparent, adaptable and proven high performing investment strategy along with a vision of tech-enabled investor ecosystem that will make it happen.

His previous investment experience includes leadership roles covering all parts of investment value chain, across multiple asset classes, geographies and client bases. Partha attended Harvard Business School Executive Program for Senior Investment Managers, has a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York as well as degrees in Statistics and Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. During graduate school at Cornell, Partha co-founded an Internet startup called Bookwormbooks.com. Partha is a CFA Charter holder and is a member of the CFA Society. Partha has already lived and worked in six different countries and currently lives in South Pasadena, CA.
