A line I've often used and sometimes gets ample attention goes something like this: "In a crowded marketplace, with dozens of companies selling the same service or product, the only differentiation and separation method is through branding, and branding has its origins on the notepad of a Graphic Designer". Good advertising in a business is drawing public attention to goods and services and my experience after doing an MBA in Advertising has shown me that to sell a business or product successfully, it must have a visual form that is appealing to the end user. After carefully considering my aptitude, interests, the nature of my training and my ultimate professional ambition, I have decided to pursue a professional course in Graphic & Web Design ultimately leading to a career in professional arts and media.
I pursued Masters in Arts which gave me a good perspective on Indian culture and arts. To strengthen my ability to capitalize on my artistic skills, I decided to study Business Administration in Advertising. At work, I have been involved in the business development process of companies by participating in the development of the visual identity and branding of the company. I have closely interacted with web designers to guide the website development for Advt companies I worked for. I have been doing client servicing for more than a year and now currently working as a GRAPHIC & WEB Designer for 2 Yrs and I see their interest more on the look-and-feel of the product as well as the design and how presentable it is to the people. In addition I contributed a little more to some ad agencies working as a model for their brand, like-D'damas, Femina, Gladrags, Pantaloons, Taj Hotels, Sun 'n' Sand Hotels, local jewelers, Bia (Sleep-ins), Vivel body lotion, Botox, VLCC, & various advertising campaigns (Print ads and fashion shows). I have also used the web as a medium of creative expression by showcasing my random artwork on my blog& Behance.net.
