Parvathi

Student in Michigan

Hi! If you've somehow ended up here, I guess you'd have to be looking for it because with a quick google search you can find out that my name, Parvathi (17 letters long if you were planning on counting), is not very common. In fact, to my knowledge, I am the only one of ME in the world. Then again, there are seven billion people in the world and very few can say that their name can come up with a google search (this is my subtle attempt at alluding to wealth disparities around the world).

Moving on from that tangent, I'm sure you're eager to find out more about me. Here are the basics. At the ripe age of seventeen, I have my future planned out: attend the University of Michigan with a double major in political science and public policy, join the Peace Corps for a year, attend law school (somewhere far, far away from Troy), and then eventually find a non-profit that's hiring and try to make a difference in the world from my small apartment in New York City. Now, take what you will from that, but I promise you that these dreams of mine will surely change within the next few years. But hopefully, if I google my name in ten years, I would make the girl who wrote that sentence proud.

Anyways, enough with the future. Currently my favorite things to do are hanging out with my friends in parking lots, aggressively petting my dogs, eating Chipotle, dying my hair bright colors, and ranting about politics. In my free time, I scroll through travel Instagram pages, listen to music at extremely high volumes in my car, and study for the overwhelming amount of AP classes in my schedule which I enjoy with my whole heart but complain about all the time. If you, the reader of this page, are ever blessed the privilege of meeting me (note the sarcasm), you will learn that I am loyal, friendly, random, and hard-working. For now, though, you'll have to take my word for it.
