Pasadena Recovery Center

The Pasadena Recovery Center provides comprehensive and compassionate treatment to individuals suffering from chemical dependency, in addition to offering a number of specialty programs. The campus-style facility, located in Pasadena, California, since 2000, emphasizes the importance of total care: in addition to addressing chronic substance abuse, the center provides extensive resources for spiritual, mental, and physical recovery. For three seasons, the VH1 television show Celebrity Rehab, which received national media attention for its thoughtful approach to substance abuse and addiction, featured the Pasadena Recovery Center. Recently, Director of Admissions Michael Bloom announced that the center would participate in the show’s upcoming fourth season, as well. Treatment at the Pasadena Recovery Center, based on the disease model of addiction, diminishes the shame associated with addictive behaviors. Founded by the late psychiatrist Dr. Lee Bloom, widely recognized for his knowledge of psychiatry and addiction, the Pasadena Recovery Center employs a highly trained clinical staff. The center welcomes individuals with dual diagnosis and provides treatment of multi-addiction issues, emotional problems, and behavioral problems. Treated disorders include compulsive gambling, through a structured program designed to promote alternative recreation and financial responsibility; self-harm, by helping individuals process anxiety and stress in a healthy manner; and anger, through group and individual sessions. The Pasadena Recovery Center’s hospitalization program or a detailed aftercare plan follows all the center’s residential programs. The Pasadena Recovery Center offers 24-hour assistance through its hotline. Find more information about the Pasadena Recovery Center and its programs at www.pasadenarecoverycenter.com.
