PASCAL WENGER
Where it began...
Over the past few years I was able to gain lots of interesting experiences. I was able to start my career as programmer for a small company based near Bern (Switzerland). That gave me the ability to realize how software and applications (including games) work and how I need to test it. Because of that, I enjoyed being an alpha and beta tester in numerous of games.
QA is serious business
During that time I was given the chance of being an Executive Management Assistant at a company based in Germany. My job included project management, basic marketing jobs, translating (German/English), writing concepts, helping out the employees. Besides that I was also good at drinking coffee, chatting and turning on my office chair.
Forming the future
After those interesting years I had the chance to get back to the IT-Business. With the exception, that it was IT + Serious Gaming. That's where I'm working right now and I'm quite happy about it. Being a System Administrator at RUAG is something special. I mean, who does not love Battlefield (1942, BF2, etc.). It just isn't arcade, it's a virtual simulation of real tanks. How cool is that, eh?
The wind's still blowing
So if you have any interesting job opportunities in the gaming business, just get in contact with me. Even if you are just looking for a contact based in Switzerland, it would be a pleasure doing business with you.
