Paschal Chudi Amaechi

Manchester, England, United Kingdom

Paschal is a selfstarter and serial entrepreneur whose experience spans across diverse sectors in both startups and blue chips. At age 15, Paschal would buy snacks and sell to his classmates while in secondary school in Nigeria where he was born. As a fresher in university, he was running multiple businesses serving fellow students across the university. As a sophomore, he wrote “How to” books to help incoming freshers, which he sold himself and through bookstores in the university for a decent profit. After a brief stint with Motorola as an Network Engineer upon graduation, Paschal went ahead to cofound a publishing outfit. He ran the business profitably, penetrating new markets almost on a monthly basis. He however left after 2 years in the business to pursue an MBA in the United Kingdom.

Armed with an MBA in International Business, a PRINCE2 and continuous online training from the Harvard Business School, Paschal has continued his career in the United Kingdom. He worked as a Product Marketing Research Associate with the Centre of the International Business of Sports (CIBS) at Coventry University headed by Professor Simon Chadwick on the research and analysis of rugby sports markets in emerging economies for MasterCard; as a Product Marketing MBA intern with Nigeria LNG, a Shell BP Joint Venture; as a Project Manager in the Highlife Limited supporting startups within the West Midlands; and very recently with Relationship Management at the RBS Group.

Paschal setup eLaunchr as a vehicle for sustainable development in Africa by impact investing in the many promising African startups and social enterprises starved for funding. It would empower Africans to take ownership of their destiny and contribute more meaningfully to the Global Economy, while deemphasizing dependence on aid.
