Paschal Corrigan began his career as an accountant, completing an apprenticeship at S.C. Dunne & Co. in Ireland, then serving as an auditor for J.G. Byrne & Co. and as an accountant for the Irish Fish Producers Organization. He moved to the United States in the late 1980s and found a position as a tax preparer with Bill McGowan & Co.

In 1990, Paschal Corrigan switched to construction, taking on a myriad of projects, including foundation work and carpentry, and later became a general contractor. He has taken classes in drafting and blueprint reading at Northshore Community College, wood carving at the North Bennet St. School, and period furniture making at the Furniture Institute of Massachusetts.
