New York City

I write and edit and produce videos and documentaries. I'm the founding editor and editor at large of Motherboard, and am a contributor to Fast Company, editing and writing on technology and culture. My writing about those and other topics—transportation, design, media, architecture, environment, psychology, art, music—has also appeared in Time, Domus, The New York Observer, Foreign Policy, Treehugger, Architectural Record, Entertainment Weekly, The Guardian, Icon, Clog, New York Magazine, Science, and Slate.

I particularly love thinking about cities and their future. I'm a co-founder of Bandwagon, a taxi-sharing app for airports, events, and dense urban spaces, based at the Urban Future Lab in Brooklyn.

Please send notes & good music to me on Twitter and by email.
