Comic Strip Theology grows out of something I've been saying for many years, "The comic section is actually the theology section of the daily newspaper."Over the years, I've noticed that very often the Lord God has used a comic to bring my attention to him and off my problems.

Our Bible Study groups here at Concord United Methodist (where I'm the pastor), have been experimenting with various ways of communicating our faith. Of course using the "theology section" of the newspaper occurred to me as one such communication style we should explore. We have found that almost any comic has connections with what Christians believe.

The comments and analyses here are those of Pastor Bob (me), and though in many cases they grow out of a class discussion, I take responsibility for them. Please share your comments, insights and blessings!
