Pastor John August entered the work of ministry in 1994, after a supernatural encounter on Thursday, December 27. The Word of the Lord to him was: "My Spirit is upon you to liberate the destinies of men, motivating them along the pathway of destiny." He was the first Prayer Secretary of the Redeemed Christian Fellowship, University of Ilorin chapter. And he was ordained as a pastor on the 5th of May, 2001.
