Dave Mann
Pastor, Leader, and Speaker in Bellingham, WA
I love church ministry. I was called into pastoral ministry when I was in high school and I know first-hand the kind of impact a growing relationship with Christ has. I met Christ in a powerful way for myself, and I was never the same. Since then, I pursued my education in pastoral ministry while also serving in a local church. I spent five years as a bi-vocational Youth Pastor while also working at a faith-based drug & alcohol treatment program. Later, I served as an Associate Pastor for three years in Bellingham, WA.
In my most recent role, I created five key systems designed to help the church operate more effectively in the areas of assimilation, communication, service planning, small groups, and volunteers. The systems are created to be a process, designed to help people take a series of next steps. The next steps approach helps people move forward on their faith journey and get connected into caring community. I would be happy to send you a portfolio with examples of my systems.
I have a passion for the local church because I believe so strongly in its mission. In the future I would love to plant a church, though I don’t have any timeline for that yet. I have also recently completed writing my first book, a discipleship book called Shoes Off: Life on Holy Ground.
I have a passion for church ministry, leadership, and administration. I possess the vision for long-term planning and strategic thinking to execute it in the short term. I have experience in recruiting, training, and equipping other leaders and volunteers. I can lead, manage, organize, and communicate. I'm organized yet flexible and can multitask as needed.
