I was born and raised in Georgetown, South Carolina. God’s will and my faith in Him guided me to move me to where I am today.

I endured intense emotional pain and disappointment for many years after I married my husband in 1979 – whom God warned me in a dream not to marry. I did not listen. I lost my only daughter due to a fire caused by my ex-husband shortly after our divorce. For many years, I suffered pain, anger and disappointment.

The Lord rescued me, and I now live in peace.

When I left Georgetown, the Spirit of God instructed me to change my name. Just as He had done with Abram to Abraham, Sarai to Sarah, and Jacob to Israel. He bid me to rid myself of the name given to me during my previous marriage, go back to my maiden name, and become ‘Pastor Julia Knowlin’.

I have since been blessed with two more children, Julian and Kristen. Yasmin, my dear granddaughter is a joy to be around. My mother, most of my siblings, and many extended family members keep my roots to Georgetown strong.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit truly helped me arise in Jesus Christ, and I believe you will experience His glory too.

I am now progressively obeying God’s call on my life. My faith grows continually by moving forward in His plan for my life
