Zaccheaus Adeboye Ogunsanya

ZACCHEAUS ADEBOYE OGUNSANYA is a seasoned Nigerian Pastor and General Overseer of Bible Pattern Church with Headquarters in Karaole Estate, Ifako-Ijaye, Lagos, Nigeria, having some branches in some other states of the nation.

Pastor Z.A.Ogunsanya gave his life to Jesus in 1976. He was a very commited Christian and was involved in numerous church activities. He has always been very close to Church. His grandfather was the leader of a local Anglican Church in Omugbawojo (now Omuted), a village in Ogun State, Nigeria.

It was not long after his conversion before he became a Church worker and he worked very closely with his pastors and the local Church leaders. Pastor Z.A Ogunsanya graduated from a full-time Bible college in 1980. While still in Bible college, (during weekends) he served as the assistant pastor of the Gospel Faith Mission at Ode-Aye, a town very close to Okitipupa, in Ikale Local Government of Ondo State, Nigeria.

Shortly after he graduated from Bible college, he was sent to pastor a local branch of The Gospel Faith Mission at Ikole Ekiti, (then Ondo State , now Ekiti State), He pastored the Church between August 1980 and early 1983, when God instructed him (at a seminar in Ibadan), to start a Church that would not only be a gospel church, but also an holiness one. This was why the church was initially named “Holiness Gospel Church’, and few years later, it was renamed ‘Bible Pattern Church‘.

Pastor Z.A Ogunsanya is an erudite writer and teacher of the Word of God. He has authored over 50 books, (some voluminous) and many other christian publications. His books are generally thoroughly researched textbooks the contents of which many pastors are using as sermon outlines. They are supported by prayers of faith, to ensure that the messages God intends to bring to His people are accurately delivered as intended by God.

He is a member of Christian Elders’ Forum of Nigera, an adviser in Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Ifako-Ijaye Chapter, and a patron of Christian Association of Nigeria, Ifako-Ijaye, chapter.

Pastor Ogunsanya is a songwriter. He has written over 150 Christian Hymns, and many choruses, which are used in some churches.
