After 25 years with the Los Angeles Urban League, I am taking a leap of faith this year to focus on the work that is near and dear to my heart... supporting cancer survivors like myself. 13 years ago I began Celebrate Life Cancer Ministry (CLCM) and it is now time to go to the next level. We will launch a facility called Shepherd's Manor a home away from home for people in treatment for cancer.
Just recently I read a passage by Rev Paula Mekdeci about Faith: Faith is our ability to believe beyond what we can perceive through our five senses. This is a walk of faith.
