Pastor Ryan Macdonald

I'm Pastor Ryan Macdonald, the Lead Pastor at The City Church & St. Anthony’s in Batavia, NY. My life's work is to follow and emulate Jesus Christ, striving daily to reflect His image and teachings. I began my ministry journey over two decades ago, starting simply by setting up chairs for church services in my childhood home’s yard. Today, I lead a vibrant multi-campus church.

My approach to ministry is deeply rooted in authenticity and a passion for discipleship. I am committed to nurturing a community that extends beyond our church walls, engaging and uplifting the surrounding community. I'm also a husband to Samantha, my wonderful wife of over 18 years, and a father to two incredible sons who share in our ministry. Together, we work to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.
