Steve Wood
Pastor in Durand, Michigan
A 33-year veteran of Christian ministry, Pastor Steve began serving as Pastor of the First Congregational Church in Durand, Michigan at the end of 2013. He has been married to Melanie for 30 years and they have three children and two grandchildren.
Pastor Steve has a BA in Biblical Studies from Oakland City University and a MA from Grand Canyon University in Christian Leadership. He is currently pursuing an EdD in Organizational Development.
His passion is helping others experience the joy that comes through living life according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. He writes, "Jesus Christ is the source of my life; Melanie is the love of my life; and Mallory (Jordan), Caleb, Isaac, and Tobias are the joy of my life.
