I have 25+ years of experience in the emergency management, homeland security, and public safety fields. Though a native of the Memphis/Nashville, Tennessee, area, my wife and I have lived in Wilmington, Delaware, and have recently relocated to the northern Metro DC area.
I have spent two summers working in Yellowstone National Park, and have authored two books on what former Yellowstone Chief Ranger Dan Sholly calls "God's Cathedral to Mother Nature." I manage several web sites, Twitter feeds, and Facebook pages related to the park as well.
