I am a Mathematics Instructor for Virtual Arkansas, I'm qualified to teach Secondary grades (7-12) but this year I'm just teaching Geometry.
I've been teaching since January of 2000, and it's been a continuing adventure. From brick and mortar, to "TV Teaching", to our current blended, mostly online classes - only the students and the math have stayed the same.
Computer skills I developed getting my Computer Science Bachelor's degree have been integral in teaching online, but my years of experience working in Human Resources in the private sector have helped with the personal interaction, whether live or technologically aided...and the paperwork.
