Pat Johnson
New Jersey
Raised in the shadows of the Big Apple, Pat Johnson has resided in the metropolitan area for the better part of 30 years. From a young age, Pat was fascinated with the great city that lay 20 miles east of his hometown and in 2010, Pat was fortunate enough to earn a degree in History from New York's only Ivy League school.
Since then, he has taken on a job as a cabdriver, both to pay off his student loans and as the ultimate humanities course. While many may question whether a college degree is best put to use by driving a Taxi, there's no doubt that the city at large and its inhabitants and visitors are best served by someone who enjoys his time in New York and enjoys the architectural, historical, and social history of the 5 Boroughs.
When not driving, Pat enjoys his free time by reading, walking, researching online, planning his next summer sojourn across America, and of course, writing about his thoughts and experiences on his blog, gothamchronicles. Pat still calls the town he grew up in his home and lives with his Mom, which is a blessing when not a curse.
