Patchen Barss

Patchen Barss has written and commented about science, technology and culture for almost 20 years. He is the author of The Erotic Engine, a book that examines the powerful influence of pornography on advances in mass communication. His articles have appeared in the Globe and Mail, the National Post, the Montreal Gazette, Reader's Digest, Saturday Night, CBC online, and elsewhere. He has worked as a producer at CBC Television and the Discovery Channel. He is also the Director of Communications for the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research
