Kamal Patel

The term biography refers to an account of someone’s life written by someone else, thus my biography must be credited to such ingenious automobiles. I have picked up a boundless addiction to hot rods, or fast cars. All aspects of sports cars, from the sleek body design to the enormous engines, intrigues and fascinates me. Kamal in my indigenous lannguage translates to Lotus, which is actually a sports car brand.

The feeling of driving a fast car for the first time is like none another I have experienced. When I pull up to a red light first in line a sense of exhilaration overcomes me. I wait excitedly for the light to change, and when it finally does I slam the gas. My eyes get bigger and my heart races from adrenanline! This creates a false reality as if though im zooming through space at the speed of light. Within a matter of seconds I am racing through the streets admiring such a creation.

When I see a work that has been created through many refurbished ideas and innovations, I am the type of person who just has to figure out why it works the way it does. I can't simply accept that a car can have 750 horsepower without understanding how, so I like to do hands on work and analyze anything I can. My passion for sports car has helped to shape me into an individual who is very active rather than passive, and who is intrigued by the role of electronics in power.
