Welcome to the shitshow!

Firstly, my name is Patience. I am a mother of two, an average tiddy goth wife to my high school sweetheart, a booktok tiktok-er, and an aspiring mental health advocate/influencer. I have a degree in psychology, and I plan on continuing my education to become a trauma counselor.

My interests include reading, playing videogames, shitposting memes, obsessing over marvel (comics and movies/shows), Game of Thrones, cars, all animals, tattoos, aliens and space. I am a huge lover of the spooky/witchy lifestyle. I am learning how to read tarot cards (so any advice is helpful) and becoming a spritual being, in general. I consider myself to be a "whimsical goth baddie" because I love fantasy, 'fairycore', gothic, grunge/alt aesthetics, but I am a bad bish, too!

I am non-judgemental, non-political, and non-religious (but I do study a lot of religions)! I am pro-BLM, pro-LGBT, pro-choice and very pro-mental health awareness. I am a werido at heart, and after years of hiding who I truly am, I have learned to love myself and all my weirdness.

On my TikTok, I plan to “defluence” reading culture. I feel as if ‘booktok’ has become a way to make money and gain followers rather than finding joy in reading. My goal is to show realistic reading by reminding everyone that it is okay to not read 50 books in a month or to go to the bookstore every other day and spend tons of money.
