Pat Pimlott

Pat was educated at the Orme Girls' School, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and went on to University in Staffordshire, reading Environmental Studies and Environmental Studies. Graduating in 1997 she returned to the family farm, and started the diversification process. The farm is now a thriving farm shop and offers outside catering (hot sizzling burgers and sausages, or a beef carvery) from its home grown cattle and pigs. Returning to work as the Rural Hub Co-ordinator for Staffordshire, and then the RE_think Energy Project Support Officer, led to an increase in education, which resulted in the award winning enterprise now established at Park Hill Farm. Schools, youth groups, special needs groups, and many associations now use the farm for days out, out of the classroom learning, and relaxation. Pat and John Pimlott have won the Countryside Alliance's National Award for Enterprise, reflecting the outstanding quality of their meat, and their fantastic educational visits. All this information is shared on the 3 farmers markets they attend in Stafford, Stone and Shifnal. Whether its a party carterer, a lovely piece of beef or pork, or a great day on the farm, its well worth contacting Pat.
